Chicken Artichoke Fusion Pita
Monday, October 10, 2011
Exploding with the taste of Greece. Artichokes, humus, sun-dried tomatoes and savory chicken melt together in sandwich that will make wonder how you ever lived without it.
Actually, some say you haven't lived until you've had one...
Instructions: First, use the whole Pita, not the one with a hole in the middle. Warm that baby up on a griddle, but don't brown it. We're not going for crunchy here.
Lay it flat and spread the humus and sun-dried tomatoes on one half. On the other spread the avocado and the olives. Put some Chicken on both halves, salt and pepper to taste.
Heck, you might as well make a few, since you're going to want seconds.
Ingredients:
Tips: It's a sandwich. You seriously are looking for tips on a sandwich? O.K. well. Try throwing some Alfalfa Sprouts on it.
Low-Fat Options: None.
